Voter Registration

The American College of the Building Arts is committed to ensuring all of our students who are eligible to vote participate in national, state, and local elections. The first step in this process is registering to vote. Students can register to vote online through the South Carolina Election Commission’s website at https://scvotes.gov/

In addition to registering to vote online, the South Carolina Election Commission’s website also provides a downloadable voter registration form for registering via mail, email, or fax. There is also a full list of locations where you can register in person.

Beyond registering to vote, the South Carolina Election Commission’s website also enables visitors to:

• Check the status of their voter registration

• View the dates of upcoming elections

• Access information on early voting and absentee voting

• Find their polling location

• View a sample ballot
