Charlie Moore owns BrassApple Furniture and Design, a small one-man shop that is a design/build solution for hand-made furniture. By working closely with the client he builds furniture that fits the needs and wants of the customer. Moore uses time-tested old-world joinery and modern machinery for all its furniture, ensuring that his pieces stand the tests of time.

Last year, at the urging of Johns Island wood carver Mary May, Sprouse and fellow furniture maker Charlie Moore, owner of BrassApple Furniture, decided to start the Charleston Wood Guild.

Charlie Moore is a craftsman, designer and educator of furniture and woodworking techniques in Charleston, SC. He caught the woodworking bug in his high school days from an inspiring shop teacher who showed him the basics of woodworking and helped him onto the path of custom furniture. He has spent the past 25 years honing those skills and refining his techniques to offer versatile, functional and beautiful pieces that can be cherished for generations to come.
