Bryce Davies grew up in southern Connecticut where he taught sailing and worked in the marine industry and carpentry. He moved to Charleston, South Carolina in 2000, where he stated Davies Woodworking and shifted his focus to the preservation and restoration of historic homes on the peninsula. His work has contributed to projects that received the Carolopolis Award from the Preservation Society of Charleston. He has also built sets for Broadway productions and apprenticed with William Rowe at Nantucket Woodworking.
